Due to it's location, on the equator, the islands are blessed with pleasant year-round weather, and there is never a bad time to visit. When you decide to go will depend on what you want to see.  As water temperatures fluctuate and seasons change, different wildlife species will become more or less plentiful—so it’s worth keeping a “must-see” species list on-hand, when planning an itinerary (and see "Galapagos Month-by-Month", below).
