OVERVIEW
The Falklands is one of the last great wilderness destinations, offering stunning landscapes, miles and miles of secluded beaches and incredible wildlife, for you alone to discover. Located in the north polar front the Falkland islands is comprised of an archipelago of over seven hundred islands, the main islands being East & West Falkland. It affords itself to activities including wildlife viewing, trekking, horseback riding, photography, fishing and scuba diving. The total population is only about 2,500 with over half living in the capital, Stanley.

WHEN TO GO
The main season runs from October to April with November to February being prime wildlife-viewing time. It is possible to visit the Islands anytime of year however most of the main destinations are closed out of season.

The Islands have a very temperate oceanic climate. The winters range in temperature from 30'F – 50'F, with very little snow. The summers are very dry and tend to be windy, lowering the temperature which can range from 46'F – 70'F.
